Викторина для  6-7 классов

по английскому языку

Цель: закрепление имеющихся знаний в области английского языка посредством игровой ситуации.

Задачи:

Образовательная

• повышать познавательный интерес учащихся к языку через использование игровых моментов;
• закрепить умение употребления в речи разговорной речи;
• обучение навыкам восприятия на слух иностранных слов.

Развивающая

• развивать внимание и память учащихся;
• развивать умение работать в группе.

Воспитательная

• умение работать в сотрудничестве с другими;
• воспитывать уважительное отношение к другой культуре.

Ход мероприятия.

I.Организационный момент.

 Good day dear boys and girls, guests and teachers! Today we  have  a competition  between the fifth and the sixth classes «  How well do you know   English  language?».  

Добрый день уважаемые гости! Мы рады приветствовать вас на нашем мероприятии. Сегодня мы проведем небольшую викторину между учащимися 5 и 6 классов которая называется « Как хорошо ты знаешь английский язык?»

II. Проведение конкурсов.

Конкурс 1

  Приветствие ( Greeting)

-          Tell us about yourself, please. ( капитан представляет себя и членов команды ( “ Hello! My name is …This is my team.” Хором: “Happy Team” /“Smart Team”).

“Riddles”

Look at these pictures. You can see many animals. Solve riddles:

    

1.     It is a small animal. It likes fish. (a cat)

2.     It is orange. It is not big. It can run. It is very cunning. (a fox)

3.     This animal lives at home or in the street. It is a man’s friend. (a dog)

 4 Конкурс-пантомима.

In this task each team must show the word which I give and the teams must guess this word.

Учащийся должен объяснить своей команде мимикой и жестами предложенные слова.  Учитель  показывает    карточку с  словом. Представитель команды должен за одну минуту “показать” это слово так, чтобы команда смогла его отгадать.

-Show pantomime! You shouldn`t say a single word, let your team guess what you mean.

The words:  A frog, a monkey, a dog, a cat

 Конкурс 5 

                                                          “Rooms”

-         In the next context you must read the sentences and guess the rooms.

1)    study 2) bedroom, 3) Living room, 4) Kitchen, 5) bathroom.

Учащимся предлагается угадать , о каких комнатах говориться в этих предложениях.

1)    In this room there is a table, a mirror, a chest of drawers and beds. We sleep here.  

2)    In this room there is a table, chairs or armchairs, a sofa, a fireplace, a television and a carpet.  

3)    In this room there is a desk , chairs, shelves of books, a computer. You may do your homework there.  

4)    In this room you may wash your hands and face, clean your teeth, take a bath or a shower.  

5)    There is a dishwasher, fridge, a stove, a microwave oven, plates, cups and other things here. We usually cook here.  

-         The team which make it more quickly and rightly will be winner.

На доску учитель вывешивает картинку, на которой изображена жилая комната. Команды по очереди описывают предметы, которые в ней находятся.

-Describe this picture. Each team should say sentences in turn by turn. Don’t forget to begin your sentences with THERE IS or THERE ARE.
